Nick attended Pennsylvania State University in University
Park, PA where he received a B.S. Civil Engineering. He then attended
Villanova University in Villanova, PA where he received a M.S. in Civil
Engineering.
His professional experience includes Metz Engineers prior
to the establishment of ProTract Engineering.
In addition to being President of ProTract
Engineering, Nick also performs Commercial, Institutional, Residential, and
Municipal Engineering.
He has performed comprehensive land development
engineering for a wide range of subdivision, mapping, and development
projects including: building addition and parking area expansions;
gymnasium expansion, athletic field and campus layout; multi-building
office complexes; gymnasium/activity center site design. Design aspects
include campus mapping, site layout, grading, sanitary sewer, stormwater
management systems, parking areas and interior drives, erosion control,
cut/fill analysis, and related items.
Nick has also performed land development engineering
for subdivisions including minor (2-10 lots) and major (over 100-lots)
subdivisions in numerous municipalities. Design aspects include lot layout,
grading, sanitary sewer systems, stormwater management systems, roadways,
water line layouts, erosion control, and related items.
Nick has also been the Engineer for the Borough of
Bryn Athyn since 1990. In this
capacity, his duties include review of all subdivision and land development
applications within the Borough; coordination, design, and inspection of
various public works projects such as roadways, storm sewers, and grading;
Borough representation at planning commission and zoning hearing board
meetings; production and maintenance of computerized Borough maps. From 1988 to 1994, he was the assistant
to lead municipal engineers in Lower Salford, Hatfield, and Franconia
Townships.

John attended Spring Garden College in Philadelphia,
PA where he received a B.S. Civil Engineering Technology in addition to an A.S.
Construction Management.
His professional experience includes Metz Engineers
and PECO Energy Company prior to the establishment of ProTract Engineering.
In addition to being Vice President of ProTract
Engineering, John also functions as a Project Engineer,
Project/Construction Manager, and Cost Engineer for various commercial,
residential, industrial, and municipal projects.
He is involved in all aspects of site engineering
design which includes the design of sanitary/storm water systems, roads,
lot layouts, in addition to erosion and sediment control.
John has also designed temporary office space and
parking facility for a large industrial plant. He also modified plant
heating system at a large industrial plant to increase capacity and
reliability.
John also managed all aspects of commercial building
and site renovation projects at a large industrial plant. Projects included
office renovations, construction of a 3,000 vehicle parking lot, and new
road construction/existing roadway repairs.
He coordinated the revision of over 1,200 nuclear
power plant operating procedures which required the direct involvement of
over 150 personnel. He also initiated and managed numerous automation
projects that resulted in the direct savings in manpower requirements while
maintaining or improving accuracy of various tasks.
While at Limerick Generating Station, he developed
multi-million dollar budgets and business plans for various organizations
within PECO Energy Company. He also prepared cost reports, financial
projections, and other cost analysis studies that resulted in the reduction
of both capital and operating & maintenance expenses.
John developed computer programs that were utilized
while managing various projects to ensure the projects were completed on or
under budget.
